Cronise Market Place – Fresh produce and beautiful plants
Cronise Market Place started in 1928 when Esbey and Annie Cronise opened a farmer’s market next door to their homestead on Main Street in Boonsboro. Nearly 100 years later, the Cronise family still offers the freshest local fruits and vegetables, as well as gorgeous flowers, plants, decor and sweets.
The Cronise Story - One of the few remaining fruit stands in Washington County.

Olde Homestead
Just Next Door…
In 2011, we expanded our business to include home decor and unique gifts at Olde Homestead, the two-story brick Cronise family home built in 1927 and next door to the Market Place.
You should see the variety of gift and decor items – each room of the house packed full of beautiful pieces to decorate your home for each season.
What People Say
Live in Virginia and needed to head west to see a friend who lost a sister, so looking for a special gift. Olde Homestead caught my eye. Decided on wind chimes and called ahead. Brenton answered and sent pictures of stock. We chose one and set it aside (no payment even asked). Arrived and it was a great set-up. Helpful staff. Chimes were set aside and perfect, plus we grabbed many more unique items. Great shop, GO. We will be back. Exceeded already high expectations. Beautiful shop for some memories to be made!
It’s like no other shop! Such a happy feeling when you walk in the doors. The smell of the candles, the beautiful and unique decor and the friendly staff hands down makes me want to return. The older cozy home that the shop is located in plus the quaint town of Boonsboro makes this a go to for any holiday shopper.
